ASIA CUP 2025: Dominant India Thrash Pakistan in Asia Cup Clash
Ray Sportz Web Desk: India produced a clinical performance to outclass arch-rivals Pakistan by seven wickets in their Asia Cup 2025 Group A encounter at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday night.
Electing to bowl first, India’s spinners wreaked havoc on a sluggish pitch as Kuldeep Yadav claimed three wickets and Axar Patel chipped in with two to restrict Pakistan to a modest 127/9 in their allotted 20 overs.
Chasing the target, India’s top order fired briskly. Young opener Abhishek Sharma blazed 31 off just 13 balls, setting the tone before skipper Suryakumar Yadav anchored the chase with an unbeaten 47. India cruised home with several overs to spare, registering a comfortable seven-wicket victory.
The win strengthens India’s position at the top of Group A and sets the stage for a high-voltage Super Four round later this week.
